Disease pressure in the southeast can be intense, making the pesticide spray programs a major component of growing grapes in the southeast US. Adding a little extra labor to calibrate your sprayer can make a major difference in making sure that the products that you spray are going where they are suppose to go – on the crop. Sprayer calibration is important for the safety of the environment and farm workers, but also for the economic impact for crop quality and pesticide costs.
