The Eastern Viticulture and Enology Forum (EVEF) recently wrapped up its latest webinar series, a collaboration between Penn State University (PSU), the University of Georgia (UGA), and other land-grant institutions focused on viticulture and enology outreach.
This season featured four viticulture-focused sessions covering:
- Vineyard Soils and Nutrition
- Vineyard Floor and Weed Management
- Vineyard Disease Management
- Sprayer Technologies and Best Practices
Some of our enology colleagues also provided some wine-making discussion sessions as well:
- SO2 Management: Putting Theory into Practice
- A discussion on piquette, low alcohol wines, and value added products
- Wine microbiome and native fermentations
- Managing low vs high pH; A Northern vs Southern US perspective
If you were unable to attend the live events, recordings are now available for you to watch at your convenience. In addition to this series, you’ll also find a variety of other viticulture, enology, and wine marketing webinars available through PSU’s Extension website.
