Join us for a vineyard workshop: Effective Vineyard Spraying: Sprayer Calibration, Coverage, and Safety on Tuesday, June 25th at Tiger Mountain Vineyards, 2592 Old 441 South Tiger, GA 30576 from 9:30 AM to 2 PM for a day of learning, camaraderie, and pesticide credits!
Pest and Disease management is a major topic for vineyard owners and managers. Making sure that pesticides are being applied safely and correctly is essential for ensuring proper disease control while not spending more than is necessary. During this workshop we will discuss pesticide safety, the importance of sprayer coverage for fungicide resistance management, and general sprayer calibration methods. There will be an outside interactive airblast sprayer calibration demonstration and each attendee will be provided with a kit so they can calibrate and verify the coverage in their own vineyards.
