Sustainability and Waste Management in the Winery:

During the 90-minute webinar on November 14^th 2023 at 3PM Central Time, Chris Gerling from Cornell University will discuss winery sustainability with Sara Martin from Critical Path Engineering Solutions, PLLC who will present waste water and water use reduction in the winery. Then Dr. Aude Watrelot from Iowa State University will present some insights about re-using grape pomace to produce a value added product, piquette.

After the presentations, we will discuss and answer any questions from the audience with grape and wine industry members, Scott Ellenbecker (Round Lake Winery, MN), Jonita Boyer (Tassel Ridge Winery, IA), Kent Foulker (Cedar Ridge Distillery, IA).
